In a Garden, Dimly Lit

In a garden, dimly lit
I came across a place to sit

beneath my feet, dewy green
above my head, bright moon stream

Trees, shadows, dancing leaves
A lurid thought, the breeze does weave

The seat grows cold, now I know
I’ve lingered here, it's time to go

People stare, world anew
I’ve come back down, a bench to view
